Akshara Weave
The second album in Akshara Weave's award winning meditation and healing series is supportive, powerful and peaceful. Reiki has five symbols that the healer uses to focus the energy. Until recent times, these symbols were kept secret and given to Reiki initiates only. Now these symbols can be found in various publications around the world. Buddhist tradition openly recognizes these symbols as the five steps on the Path to Enlightenment. The second of these symbols is the Sei He Ki. Reiki energy works on whatever level healing is needed, whether on the physical, emotional, mental, or spiritual body. When we use the Sei He Ki in a Reiki session, energy is directly focused to the emotional body. Many times physical ailments have roots in emotional experiences, or emotions are associated with physical trauma. Whatever the situation, the Sei He Ki brings buried or hidden emotions to the surface to be felt, experienced, and let go of. When the emotions are released, the physical diseases associated with them often vanish. The Sei He Ki can also assist us in transforming negative emotions to positive ones. It can be invoked for purification and protection, to guard against negativity, to clean a space of negative energy, and to release unwanted spiritual and karmic attachments. Traditionally the Sei He Ki has been defined as "God and man coming together." It brings divine energies into the human body, encouraging and supporting a deeper connection with Source, Spirit, or God. Much of our egoic suffering can be related to emotional identification, and many times we unconsciously separate ourselves from our divine connection by clinging to deep negative emotions such as fear, anger, worthlessness, and despair. The Sei He Ki invites us to directly experience what is really present within this moment, clearing away unnecessary past attachments and future fears. It encourages and supports a clear pathway to the Source at the core of our being.
